Description

We're breaking all the rules again with the Crack Fokker! Twisted Hobbys has taken the feel and concept of WWI flying machines and daredevil pilots to fantastic new places.  Envisioned in the demented mind of Twisted addict Steve Marble, designed and drawn by Cody Wojcik, and realized by RC Factory, the Crack Fokker combines 3D flying, WWI dog-fighting, a huge speed range, and silly aerobatics for more fun than you can imagine.  With a whole new set of flight characteristics the Crack Fokker is like no other model we have.  Loops are beyond tight and roll rate is extremely axial and quick for the amount of wing area.  That huge wing area means that speeds range from surprisingly brisk to so slow it looks like a camera trick. The fun doesn’t stop there...with dual aileron servos you can even add mixing for multiple flap settings for tail-high slow speed passes and and even tighter loops than any other model.  The Crack Fokker is pure flying fun in a way that nobody has experienced before.

Printed art work was inspired by one of the classic schemes, keeping true to the Fokker's roots.  Like all Twisted Hobbys models quality is superior and building is a pleasure with the latest hardware that eliminates excess weight while removing any unwanted play from all the control surface connections. Twisted Hobbys as always has spent time selecting the correctly matched electronics for the Crack Fokker, available as a convenient power combo.  Recommended stock setup is 2s 600-800mah w/ 9x4.7 or 3s 450-600mah w/ 8x4DD for advanced pilots.   Enjoy the look of a classic Fokker Dr.1 with flight characteristics you have only dreamed of!

    Fokker DR1

I have 5 other "Cracked" 3D foamies. This plane immediately became my favorite. It has a very wide flight envelope and is extremely easy to fly - so easy, I think a talented student could easily use this airplane as an advanced, pre-solo, trainer with very low rates. This is an "RC Factory" plane. So as always, the downloadable build instructions are detailed, with good pictures for each step of the build. The kit is high-quality, accurately cut, and easy to assemble. This is a unique tri-plane 3D foamy, I highly recommend it.

    Another winner!

This is another addition to my fleet of TH models. Maidened at the gym yesterday night. WOW. Very little trimming to do and what a great flying enveloppe! You can fly very slow or hit the stick and go insanely fast. Or hover with much ease, she will do all the tricks and more. Very solid and resistant as well. Just a wonderful model.

    A few words would help

The pictorial instructions were adequate for someone who has worked with EPP. A few sentences here and there would help like for the wing struts. The picture made it clear which end of the strut goes in the center wing; however l almost installed them backwards. Need to insure that the bottom wing is aft of the center wing.

Just fascinated with my fokker (my first build ever)

Posted by Josh Finley on Oct 1st 2017

I recieved my fokker tri plane just a couple days after ordering. From Florida to ohio pretty quickly . I found a box full of goodies and everything to complete the build. Never having built a plane before I was rather overwhelmed at all the rods and small pins and clips and clevis's . That being said I got the plane Wednesday evening and I maidened it Saturday morning. The directions on line are very well put together. Step by step I had the plane built in roughly 13 hours. (3 evenings after work) I'm sure others that are not new to the hobby could do it rather quickly but I did want to do it right and not rush it. It's really a beautiful plane. It goes together just perfect. The material and the rods that help brace it make it really strong and it's still light enough that it literally feels indestructible. I come from a fpv drone background and as soon as I seen footage of these planes I instantly had to get one. I love the look of it . It looks mean and just wicked especially the 3 wings... I had to have it. From a beginner to a pro all levels of people are enjoying these planes and I really feel like I'll always be a twisred hobbies plane owner. Everyone told me they would be the most fun and they are right. I love my TH fokker.

The 35" EPP CRACK FOKKER DR.1 TRI - BLUE

This is my favorite plane for crazy, insane aerobatic stunts. I keep wondering why I buy expensive balsa when this completely covers it. It has made me really twisted.

    Amazing Airplane

Posted by John on Jan 24th 2017

What fun! I flew this airplane for the first time at an indoor event in Des Moines Iowa. It flew like my Click Ng, very slow and precise. It feels much lighter in the air than anything else of this size or weight that I have flown. I got positive comments about it every time I flew and I flew it a lot.

    Crack Fokker

Posted by Kevin, Advance NC on Jan 14th 2017

Flew it today for the first time and loved it! Be sure and use velcro on the battery for the first few flights. The CG is a little difficult to get exact, I started with what I thought was close and ended up moving the battery a half inch forward! It doesn't fly like my crack Yak, and it shouldn't! You will love the super slow manuevers, and the landings are so soft and slow, I giggled like a child on every touch and go! Well done Twisted Hobbies!

Another great plane is all it's cracked-up to be.

This is my second airplane from the twisted group and it's a welcoming change in the arf build from the other airplanes and it's really fun to fly.
