Description

The EPP Crack Mini Pitts model is our new favorite high performance 3D aerobatic EPP biplane that pushes all the limits. The new mini evolved from our quest for a smaller ultra high-performance biplane that can literally be flown just about anywhere and also to ameliorate upon the already over top performing larger Crack Pitts model.

Extensive amounts of testing went into achieving desired amounts of wing loading, power to weight ratios and also new air-frame construction. Coming from its larger brother we capitalized and exaggerated those design features to make a smaller plane that will really outperforms.  A new power system was also created along with new construction methods to reach the highest level of over all performance and durability in an epp model. All these highlights results in the most extreme 3d EPP Mini Biplane model for indoors or even in your own backyard!

    22inch mini crack pitts

Posted by john simms on Jan 20th 2023

Great plane for doing 3d indoors. i fly it in a gym and it does everything you ask it to do. The build was straight forward and my only wish is that it had some real wheels of some type. However the foam deal it has does work due to it being so lite. Highly recommend if you some 3d flying fun indoors, Kudos Twisted Hobby and Factory RC.

TH 22" EPP Mini Crack Pitts "Orange/Yellow"

This is the best 3D small plane I own, and the best on the market. Very responsive in low or high rates and really raises excitement level each time I fly it. Whether I use the 2S 250, or a 2S 450 battery it flies the same when the CG is right. I get almost 10 minutes of flight time with the 450 batteries. I get lots of compliments on my flying skills with this airplane. You can't go wrong with this purchase. Easy and fast build, light and durable. More fun than you can imagine!

    Mini Pitts with thrust vectoring

Posted by charlie on Jan 29th 2017

Hi again. This is my 4th Twisted Hobby airplane. My first was a Puddle Star. After building this model.I started looking at other models.I have always liked thrust vectoring,Curently my favorite models are the Revo p3 and the Extra 330 v3.After receiving myMini Pitts.I started looking at how easy it would be to make a thrust vectoring model out of it.I ordered the Extra 330 v3 hardware kit.It is simple to set it up with the kit.I just maidained it Wow this is so much fun with thrust vectoring.I does increadable harriers high alphas so slow like the p3 and Extra v3.I just couldn't stop flying it.I think if you looking for a small biplane like I was,you cant go wrong with the mini pitts.

    Easy assembly, great flyer

Posted by Jim McKee on Oct 5th 2016

Very easy assembly. The instructions are concise and clear, the parts fit is very good. The recommended servos and power package result in a great flying airplane. On high rates it is a very responsive airplane, but on low rates it settles down and is easy to take off and land. Most of my flying is indoors, but the plane handles well outdoors if the wind is light.
