Description

The all new Clik 21 Super lite model by Rc Factory is yet another massive achievement with its newest revisions.  The Clik is one of the most famous in-door models in the community for many successful years, we are proud to welcome the new Clik 21!  With new wing geometry (elliptical leading edge) new efficient brakes design.  Also ailerons now have reinforced carbon mesh - the aileron is fully rigid and does not flex, for better control authority and precision.  Also a slight change to the fuselage shape and with a new color scheme these Clik’s are hot and ready for your indoor season! The new Super Lite series embark a new adventure for in-door flight capabilities.

    Locked In

Fantastic Plane! You can build it super light and fly it off a battery so small that you can't imagine a plane this big flying for 4+ minutes. Or for only a few grams more the bumped up power and even a AFCS and it still flies extremely slow and is absolutely locked in on all lines and in hover.

The best 3D trainer gets refined

Posted by Brian Dorff on Jan 9th 2020

After building 4 Clik R2 and 3 of the Crack laser pro kits in the past 3 years, I was excited to see a new Clik with some of the more current construction methods, 3d printed parts, and additional braking surfaces. Construction is straightforward and the elliptical leading edge makes the carbon strip easier to install. The trussing on the ailerons and additional bracing on the vertical fin make for a more rigid airframe on the 21 than the R2. This structure does translate into flying, the Clik 21 feels more locked in and flys slightly slower than its predecessor, especially on down lines when the brakes have the greatest effect. The rudder effectiveness benefits as well, the backside of a knife edge loop is noticeably rounder and tighter. These are small refinements, as the old plane flys 95% as well as the new, a testament to the overall design. The difference is that the 21 feels like a perfect marriage of the best attributes of the old clik and the Laser pro; the crisp, precise feel of the laser, with the slow speed advantage that makes the previous Clik the best introduction to indoor 3D possible. I have always recommended the Clik to anyone flying indoors, and with the newest revision Clik 21 that won't be changing anytime soon. Highly recommend! ...I know there are many pilots that have undergone various stages of weight reduction, my experience is flying these in stock form with the recommended indoor power combos. Weight wise I am coming in around 117-118g complete minus battery, and with using a 17g battery I am at about 134-135g rtf for both the R2 and 21 versions. The only difference is the gram or so per side for the additional brakes. I thought some would appreciate knowing ahead of time to expect the same weight with the new model.
