Description
The Vertex Series ESC's delivers top 4D performance with easily switches between 3D & 4D modes with a simple side switch. Programming is quick and easy, everything is done for you!
Designed for EPP models (22"-37"), we recommend 2S-3S lipos with 1500-2000KV motors. 4D pre-programmed settings was designed to work directly with our 1950kv Vertex motor. Pre-installed BLHeli_S software. Reverse spoil speed has been optimized to minimize cogging, which can occur if reversing too quickly, resulting in stalled movement. Bheli software can be used to alter though we do not support this option.
Each ESC comes with a female JST & 2mm bullet connectors for plug-and-play with any of our smaller outrunner motors. Caution: Reverse thrust can twist motor mounts and damage the airframe. Ideal for models 7 oz or lighter to avoid performance issues or motor/ESC stress.

Recommended Props / Lipo for 3D flight: 8" 3s / 9" 2s
Recommended Props / Lipo for 4D flight: Voltage & prop selection significantly impact reversing speeds. A drop in voltage—whether from a lower voltage setup or a depleted battery—will result in slower reversing performance. Lighter weight, lower thrust props reverse quicker.
- APC 4D GREY 5.5mm hub: 8x4.2 w/ 3s or 9x4.4 w/ 2s. Great setup, fast spoiling & good thrust. (recommended)
- APC 4D SFR BLACK 5MM hub: 8x3.7 w/ 3s or 9x3.9 w 2s. Slower reverse spoiling do to greatest thrust / prop shape.
- PT Model 4D carbon fiber props LINK: Ultimate in reverse spoiling speed, yet lower thrust.
