Description

Meet the Step One BABY! Designed by Jan Sedláček, this miniature 20-inch EPP trainer brings the easygoing personality of the original Step One into a compact model that can fly almost anywhere.

Instead of traditional control surfaces and servos, the Step One BABY uses two brushed motors and differential thrust for steering. Increasing the speed of one motor turns the aircraft, keeping the electronics simple and the finished model extremely lightweight.

The removable wing makes it easy to pack for trips, while its slow and predictable flight characteristics make it enjoyable for beginners and experienced pilots looking for relaxed indoor or calm-weather flying.

    Baby step one

    I found the wing assembly not strong enough to support the motors, I added carbon fiber on the leading and trailing edges of the wing and that worked good, I got the Flite Test FT STEM EZ-Power Pack 2 Channel and that worked excellent, just make sure you mount the board with the led down and power wire going forward, just look at one of their builds
