Description
Pre-Order: (Expected late January to early Feb) The Ares Indoor was developed in collaboration with Krill Aircraft, creators of the full-size composite Ares, and Jack Jehle, focusing on an indoor EPP version that faithfully captures the look, feel, and flying character of the original.
Built from 4 mm EPP, the Ares Indoor is extremely lightweight yet highly durable, making it ideal for indoor flying and rough handling. Compared to traditional Depron models, EPP offers superior resilience and quick field repairs without part replacement. Carbon reinforcements, including rods and strips, keep weight minimal while providing strength and rigidity.
Flight performance was a central focus, emphasizing precision, predictability, and versatility. The model responds evenly and symmetrically on all axes, delivering calm, precise handling while retaining the character of the full-size Ares. Dual aileron servos allow for exact control and optional flap setups, making slow stable flight and knife-edge passes effortless. The centrally mounted motor reduces the risk of propeller damage during minor impacts, and the airframe remains rigid and composed even during imperfect landings.
The result is a highly maneuverable, durable, and precise indoor fighter suitable for both recreational and advanced pilots.
