A Flexible Bond for EPP Aircraft
JQ-2118 is designed for joints that need to remain flexible with the foam instead of becoming rigid and brittle. The 1.4 oz tube provides a useful amount of adhesive for new builds, routine repairs, and general workshop use.
Recommended Application Method

Prepare the joint. Make sure the parts are clean, dry, and test-fitted before applying adhesive.

Apply a controlled amount. Spread a thin, even layer across the bonding area and avoid excess adhesive.

Align and secure. Position the parts carefully, press the joint together, and hold or tape it in place.

Allow the joint to cure. Follow the directions on the product tube and avoid stressing the joint until fully cured.

Airframe Assembly: EPP-to-EPP joints and major structural sections
Repairs: Cracks, splits, tears, and separated EPP components
Hardware: Securing compatible motor mounts, control horns, and reinforcement pieces
Electronics: Mounting servos and securing lightweight equipment where appropriate
Field Repairs: A practical addition to an RC repair kit for flexible foam models
Material Compatibility: JQ-2118 is intended primarily for EPP model construction and repair. Test on scrap material before using it on other foam types, painted surfaces, plastics, or unfamiliar materials.
Application Tip: Flexible adhesives work best when used in a controlled layer. Excess glue adds weight and can extend curing time without improving the finished joint.
Important Safety and Storage: This is a solvent-based adhesive. Use it in a well-ventilated area, wear protective gloves, and keep it away from children, heat, sparks, and open flames. Replace the cap after use and store the tube tightly closed in a cool, dry location.

    Great glue

    Really high quality glue. It takes just a little bit longer to cure than foam tac, but holds a bind just as well and is a little bit thinner!

    Figured to give this glue a go for the price. Worked well its more liquidity than other adhesives and allowed me more time to work when building. Has a unique smell very similar to welders glue I liked it :-). Used when building the Crack Edge so far so good and for the price its worth it.
