Description

The Prop-Saver Band Installation Tool provides a simple, controlled way to install and remove tight prop-saver bands. Its compact design provides the leverage needed to stretch standard-duty or heavy-duty bands over the propeller and retaining screws without struggling with screwdrivers or other improvised tools.

Controlled Leverage for Tight Bands
The tool helps stretch the band over the propeller and retaining screws with greater control, making installation and removal faster and easier at the workbench or flying field.

Basic Use
1
Position the propeller. Disconnect the flight battery and place the propeller on the prop-saver hub.

Attach one side. Place one side of the prop-saver band over a retaining screw.
3
Stretch and secure. Use the tool to pull the opposite side over the propeller and onto the remaining screw.

    This a wonderful tool. Similar to a toothbrush or a microwave, you can get by without it, but with it life is easier. It is well made and should last a lifetime.

    This tool works perfectly. It makes installing those robber prop savers SO EASILY. Just hold onto the outrunner can (in order to not stress the foam fuselage), and lever that sucker over the prop - perfect!

    Although I have seen some individuals that are quite handy with installing the prop saver bands with a screw driver or other come tool, I myself can not imagine using anything but this tool. I recently acquired a second one so that I could have one in my pit box and one in the shop.

    This thing really works! Elegantly Simple, Diabolically Effective Once you get the hang of it, O-Ring installs for the prop saver are a few seconds. Think of all that time you could be flying rather than fiddling with an O Ring....
