Compatibility and Installation Notes

• Throttle Calibration Required: The transmitter throttle range must be calibrated before the ESC will arm the motor for initial use. Always remove the propeller before beginning the calibration process.
• Confirm that the receiver and all connected servos are rated for operation at 6V.
• Select a motor and propeller combination that remains within the ESC’s 16A continuous-current rating.
• Secure the ESC where it receives adequate airflow and is protected from excessive vibration or mechanical strain.
• Do not completely cover the ESC with foam, adhesive, or other materials that may prevent heat from escaping.
• Always remove the propeller before performing throttle calibration or checking motor direction.

Important: This is a standard forward-only ESC. Pilots requiring switchable forward and reverse thrust for 4D flight should use the Vertex 17A 3D/4D reversible ESC instead.
