Description

Introducing the all-new 29” EPP F-22 Raptor from RcFactory! Setting new grounds for capable combat is ready for fast-paced aerobatics, fun combat or just spur of the moment flying with minimal investment.  Roll rate is insane and certain maneuvers can't even be emulated by traditional airplanes.  Mid fuselage mounted motor/propeller also with fully EPP design makes the Raptor almost indestructible.  Like all of Twisted Hobbys foamies, the low weight and durable full EPP construction make this airplane perform great while remaining incredibly durable, all without breaking the bank. The F-22 Raptor boasts a wide speed range and quick construction, making it an ideal spec combat plane or just a bunch of no-frills fun for pilots of any skill level.

    Best profile jet/plane

Posted by Bill Green on Nov 4th 2016

I love this F22. I have many planes, but this is the most fun to fly. I am just slightly better than a novice, but this plane makes people think I am an expert. It is easy to fly after you learn on a trainer. I bought 6 when they were on sale. This plane got my friends interested, so I'd give one to a friend. The new model has a rudder option. I haven't tried it yet. But it is difficult to believe the original design could be improved upon.

A ton of fun to fly!

The Twisted Hobbys F-22 is about as much fun as you can have for $65 bucks! A great flying profile jet, capable of just about anything. With the recommended TH power set up this model can handle a lot of wind. Incredibly durable and insanely maneuverable, this model is also very easy to handle and would be a great choice for a novice wanting to get into foam jets. Not a fast plane, simply a predictable, fun to fly prop jet that will do anything that you want it to do.

    3D JET ? -----Yes

If you are looking for flat out speed, this is the wrong airplane for you. If you are looking for plain old fun, this one will fit the bill. First of all, it is super stable and loves high alpha attitudes. Inverted power off produces a perfect elevator maneuver. Launches and lands easy. Definately on my frequent flyer list.......

Slow flying monster that's hard to kill!

Posted by Jason Rhinevault on Sep 1st 2016

I've built tons of park jets, F-22, F-35, T-50, F-18, SU34, MiGs, deltas, etc... Some fly slow, some fly low, some do both really well. When it comes to high alpha flight, I'm an addict! The only shortcoming with those scratch-built jets is that they're made from depron and therefore they're very brittle and unforgiving in a crash. That's where this F-22 has all those others beat, it can take a lot of punishment, plus it's so light and designed so well that it fly's like a dream! I fly inches above the ground inverted all day long with this plane, without fear of destroying it if I mess up. Also it has better slow flying control inverted than right side up so I'm encouraged to practice my inverted flight every day! Just an amazingly FUN plane to fly all the way around!

    Better with rudder

Posted by Rod Barron on Aug 23rd 2016

A flying buddy has 2 Raptors and enjoys them very much. He let me fly his and I immediately noticed that it could be improved with addition of rudders. I was able to control the yaw at very high angles of attack which I could not do without rudders. Loops are about two body lengths in diameter. Rolls are a blur. It's great! Low and slow is exciting. This is a well engineered plane. I used a third servo located just behind the prop slot and two carbon fibre pushrods with middle supports.

Now have 2 Raptors in my hangar. I do not fly 3d so this is a little new to me. The raptor fly's easy and slow very stable craft. Builds super easy and power is great it looks amazing in the air. I like it so much i bought another one.
