Description
Meet the Step One Trainer! Designed by Jan Sedláček, the 34" Step One was created with one goal in mind—make learning to fly RC airplanes as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Its forgiving flight characteristics and durable EPP construction allow new pilots to build confidence quickly while giving experienced flyers a relaxing aircraft they'll enjoy bringing to the field.
The high-wing design naturally self-stabilizes in flight, making smooth turns and gentle landings easier than ever. Unlike many trainers, the Step One doesn't stop being fun after you learn the basics. It thermals surprisingly well, makes an excellent FPV platform, and delivers long, relaxing flights in calm conditions.
Constructed from nearly indestructible EPP foam with a removable wing and oversized landing gear, the Step One is ready for parks, backyards, or your local flying field. Large wheels handle rough grass with ease, while the removable landing gear allows even longer flight times when hand launching.

Amazing Plane!
I bought one of these in used condition at a swap meet. After changing out the receiver and adjusting the surfaces, it flew great! This is a fun, stable, self-righting flyer. I can't imagine an easier plane to fly. The other pilots ask if I have a gyro in it because it flies so gently. A perfect slow flyer. Does light aerobatic rolls and loops. I'm going to buy another new one and build it because I've already had several offers from even advanced pilots wanting to buy this one from me.
