Crack Pitts M12: 30-Inch EPP Standard Biplane Series
Designed by Cody Wojcik, the Crack Pitts combines the proven low-speed performance of the Crack Yak with Cody’s extensive F3P biplane experience. The result is a smooth, precise, and highly capable EPP biplane with excellent stability and the responsive control needed for advanced 3D aerobatics.
The reinforced biplane structure provides excellent rigidity without complicated external wing bracing. Lightweight printed EPP, pre-hinged control surfaces, and laser-cut control horns help simplify assembly while creating a durable model suited for regular 3D practice.

We recommend Foam-Tac for the main EPP assembly and thin or medium CA glue where specified for carbon-fiber reinforcement and hardware connections.

Strong contender for favorite plane ever!
I've got 6 TH planes now and every one of them is amazing. That said, I think this one is my very favorite! It just flies everything extremely well and feels very precise and locked in. Through various situations such as pushing my limits, flying in bad conditions, radio failure, etc. I've abused the heck out of this plane and a little hot glue or foam tack later and it's back to flying as great as ever. I'd give this one 6 Stars if I could!

Crack Pitts M12 - Fear not the 3D
I got this (for myself) as a Christmas present in 2020. I've been horsing around with 3D for the past year or so having accomplished my first rolling circle earlier this year. But I've been looking from something to fly at the house to get reps in. This airplane was exactly what the doctor ordered. Instructions are super prescriptive and the power combo was perfectly matched to the airplane. Up and flying in a little over a day (welders dry time). Even had a small issue with the aileron servo not perfectly centering. Two quickly replied to messages (late at night) later the new servo was on its way. Magnificent flyer! It really does fly BIG. Very stable in all maneuvers that I've attempted, plenty of power on 2S 450mAh. Flight timer for 4min30sec on average throttle usage and leaves some left in the cells. Highly Highly recommend this airplane. If you're like me and have larger (more expensive) 3D machines you're hesitant to do the low crazy stuff with and don't always believe the physics in the flight sims, you need this airplane in your barn.

Iam still flying my second Pitts (2.5 years and going strong). I did spray the airframe with Krylon Clear, and replaced all the servos. I have hundreds of flights on it, and even use this plane to introduce others to 3D, Twisted Hobbies is "hands down" the best line of 3D kits out there..

30" EPP CRACK PITTS M12 BIPLANE RED
I'm not a 3d pilot, I'm not really even any good at level flight, but on its maiden, I was able to (poorly) execute a few 3d moves. It flies into a hover almost effortlessly, and although I cannot yet keep it there, I can barely believe it. It flies smoothly and has plenty of control surface(s). I know that I'll really be able to sharpen some 3d skills flying it, even more so than with the Durafly Hyperbipe I am replacing with this model. I'm a happy customer!

My favorite TH plane
This was my first TH plane and still my fav even though I dropped a star. The fuse to rudder joint was not cut right yielding ~7 degree angle on this joint and one of the SFGs had an extra cutout in it for some reason. I have not seen this in any of my other TH kits so I'm calling it a defective kit that I didn't catch before starting the build. This is my favorite TH plane even though it has some asymmetry in the yaw coupling (rudder joint?). It is very predictable in the air and is an absolute tank of a plane. I've beat the crap out of this plane and it still flies just like new. On one flight I hit a light pole, bounced off and kept flying. Once landed it had torn wings (to the spar!), chipped prop and a cracked fuse - but it still flew just fine! If you want to learn 3D this plane is an excellent choice! glue: Beacon TH digital power combo CF upgrade Batt: 2s 950mah nano Tech (10-15 min flights so I can learn) note: This batt is only 8gr heaver than a 450mah regular lipo

Crack Pitts M12 Biplane
The Crack Pitts ( along with the Crack Camel ) are two of my favorite planes to fly. I purchased this Crack Pitts as a replacement for my current identical Crack Pitts because I have flown the original so much ( multiple seasons) that it is getting somewhat tired and sun faded and I do not wish to be without one. Excellent flight characteristics and very enjoyable to fly. No bad habits! An excellent way to practice your 3D.

love this plane!
This is my 2nd one. First one is going strong, thought I'd get another airframe to replace it with when it eventually gives out. Fantastic plane for flying around the front yard area. Slows up really nice, and great 3D. Very durable EPP, only design complaint is the landing gear mounting to the fuselage is a bit weak on a crash, it can tear the EPP foam out of the lower fuselage where the gear attaches. Easy to fix with Welders to glue the foam chunk back in. The other option is to not crash, but this thing is so much fun to push your flight envelope past where you're used to! On the next build, might try to reinforce the area with a few square inches of thin plywood on both sides. My current power combo is a HK2612 S-line 1900kV with a 8040 prop, using a 2S 800mAh battery. Great flight times, and good power, with >13 oz thrust (measured, static). Plane is a little over 8 oz. Might try a 9x5 prop and see if it gets a bit more 'pop' accelerating up from vertical hover, and more propwash over the control surfaces for manuevers

30" Crack Pitts Biplane - my first TH plane
Built this a few months ago - went cheap and fitted it with servos, 55g Hextronik 25D-28 brushless outrunner, Hyperion 20A ESC, Orange receiver, Grish 9 x 6 sport propeller and E-Flite 1300mAh 3S batteries, all from the junk box - ended up weighing nearly 400g all up (twice the specification!). Forecast to fly like brick but does not - am new to 3D but can hover and harrier land with little effort, nice vertical climb at full throttle, all on "sport" rates - weak spot just forward of aileron servo needed reinforcing with tape and had to fit wire tail skid to stop rudder hitting the ground - otherwise no complaints - now my favourite plane!

TH 30" EPP Crack Pitts
By far one of the best small 3D planes on the market! Flies incredibly slow, and is so light it would make a great trainer as well. Because of the low mass, most crashes have little or no damage. Some say there a little pricy, but the engineering and unique stiffer EPP foam make it worth while.
