TH 39" EPP ARES XL JET

Info I intended to include in my initial review: The build was fun and very straightforward. Follow the instructions to the letter, in order, and you will be rewarded with a nice plane. On my 2nd flight, I accidentally added throttle as it was sliding to a stop on dry grass. With about 1/4 throttle, it just kept happily sliding along, and I probably could have punched the throttle and did a touch-n-go. Knife-edge flight is great, with just a little bit of coupling. I am pretty sure this will be one of my few planes that I *always* take along with me to to the field.

I am a very long time customer of TH, and knew I had to get one of these when they came out in the US. And I am glad I did! This plane is a real hoot, as you can do all the cool jet maneuvers at ultra slow speed. Then you get even slower and let it shine in 3D flight. Pretty easy to hover for a short while and harriers well. I get a 5 minute flight from a 3S 1,300 battery. Still dialing in the CG, then I will cut a slot for the battery. This plane is a real keeper!
