YAK XL
My mind was just spaced out by how precise the XL flew. Almost robotic the way it locked on and did exactly whatever was commanded. Zero trim needed on first flight, and the CG was set at mid range. This plane excells at all disciplines...precision rolling circles and straight slow rolls are just super smooth and clean. The build was straightforward with a few modifications...we used 21g servos, 1000kv/442W motor, 50A esc and apc 13x4 and 12x4.5 props. I didnt like the supplied servo arm extensions and stabilizer horn so we made our own from carbon fiber plate. The planes are a little heavier than stock and we were hoping it would fly more like a balsa plane with the carry through momentum for pop tops, slides and tumbles. They actually handle up to 15 kt wind extremely well. My favorite thing to do with the XL is tight flat turns and knife edge looping maneuvers. Knife edge is super powerful and requires zero mix. Rolling is arrow straight and all 3D/XA maneuvers we have learned so far have been easy to make. Ive lown the 42" Edge and Veloxity, and the XL handles waay better and volumes more precise than both. We now have 3 of them!

THE Profile foamie
I worked my way up from the lite 32, regular 32, 35 beaver, 39 revolto and now this. Hands down, the greatest plane in the closet. The control and stability make it an absolute joy to fly.
