Our most notorious 3D EPP model!! The Crack Yak-55 was designed with Twisted Hobbys Team pilot Chris Jewett for the pilots wanting the most extreme flight characteristics in a profile EPP 3D model! This model is the pinnacle for newer pilots and 3d pilots wanting to excel in the hobby.
With the newest design concepts for EPP construction this bird was made to be built fast and out last the competition. With pre-hinged constructions along with new carbon fiber trust design makes it one of the fastest EPP models in its class to build yet keeping the tail section rigid for precision flying. Each kit includes high quality printed EPP air frame, carbon fiber control rods, control horns, adjustable end-links, fiber motor mount and completed revised snap links to eliminate control rod play.

The best foamie I have ever flown. Designed well, easy build, a nice simple 3D trainer.
32" Crack Yak-55Gold
I bought this plane as a Birthday gift for my son, so it hasn't even been built yet. However I purchased this one because several months ago I purchased your Crack Turbo Beaver at Joe Nall Week in South Carolina this year. It's my first 3D foamy and I'm thoroughly enjoying how to do many new maneuvers with it. My Son said the next plane he got, he'd like to have one like it so that's why I bought the Yak! I'll let you know when he gets it built.
My first 3D plane
This is a great plane to start 3D with. I reccomend doing the 2s power setup. The plane is slow and responsive. It's great for learning 3D!
TH 32" EPP CRACK YAK 55
I HAVE BEEN FLYING FOR ONE YEAR HAVE TWO BALSA PLANE BEEN LEARNING TO FLY . THIS IS THE PLANE TO LEARN WITH,I HAVE A ONE ACRE BACK YARD AND LET ME TELL THIS PLANE IS THE PERFECT SIZE FOR MY YARD AND A BLAST TO FLY, IT IS THE PLANE I'VE BEEN NEEDING TO LEARN TO FLY ANY KIND OF FLYING. THE EEP FOAM IS TOUGH!!! I GET OUT IN THE YARD AND TRY TO FLY EVERY WAY I CAN ,HIT THE GROUND ,PICK IT UP AND THROW IT IN THE AIR AND HAVE A BLAST!!!! GET ONE OF THESE YOU CAN FLY WITH NO FEAR OF DESTROYING IT LIKE A BALSA PLANE OR THOSE BRITTLE FOAM PLANES. BY THE WAY I'M NO KID I'M 69 YEARS AND HAVING A BALL WITH IT.
The Crack Yak is the most precise-flying foamy I have ever flown! It can do any maneuver you can imagine, and it does them superbly well. Hats off to Twisted for this little bundle of fun!
Great purchase, very pleased with delivery and quality.
32" Yak 55 Gold
Delivery and service great. Make sure you can find required glue or order with plane. Colors are washed out.from pictures but boxed well. Looks like easy build after I get right glue.
Awesome flying! Better than sim!
Awesome flying. Manual could be updated a bit. Still worth it! Hovers like no other.
A Ton of Fun in a Few Ounces!
Wow. This 32 inch Crack Yak is a blast to fly! THe build was easy and fun. I maidened it in 12-15 mph winds and it was F-U-N!!! Easy to fly on 2S, a little screamer on 3S. Does all 3D maneuvers well. Best of all, I have no fear because it is EPP and I am into it for under $125. The perfect plane to hone your 3D skills. Just set the throws and expo to your liking and have at it. I have my eyes on the TH Veloxicty next.
Yak-55 Lots of Fun!
I've been flying my Crack Yak-55 for two years. Talk about Fun!! It's a great 3D and aerobatic trainer. Truthfully I have never crashed my Yak-55 but members of my club have really put them in the ground while honing their skills. The resilience, repair-ability and flying ability make the Yak-55 a winner in my book!
