Description

Mini MXS-C: 24-Inch EPP Mini Series

The Mini MXS-C brings the agility, precision, and energetic flying character of the larger MXS-C into a compact 24-inch EPP airframe. Its convenient size makes it an excellent choice for indoor flying, backyard practice, and smaller outdoor flying areas.

More than simply a scaled-down model, the fuselage, wing platform, and control surfaces were refined specifically for the smaller airframe. The result is the quickest and most rigid aircraft in the Mini Series, while its carefully shaped wing and fuselage still provide stable, controlled handling at slower speeds.

Key Features

  • Compact version of the larger MXS-C aerobatic design
  • Lightweight and durable printed EPP profile construction
  • Quickest and most rigid aircraft in the Mini Series
  • Refined wing and fuselage shape for controlled slow-speed handling
  • Fast and precise response for energetic aerobatic flying
  • Large control surfaces for hovering, harriers, and advanced 3D maneuvers
  • Well suited for indoor, backyard, and calm outdoor flying

Specifications

  • Wingspan: 24 inches
  • Length: 25 inches
  • Estimated Flying Weight: 90 to 100 g / 3.2 to 3.5 oz
  • Construction: Lightweight printed EPP foam with carbon-fiber reinforcement

Been a great plane for years

Posted by Eric on Jan 19th 2024

I've had it about 5 years and it's still going strong. Don't let it's size fool you. It's very capable for it's size. Can fly it in a very small space no problem. It's been wrecked so many times and never missed a beat.

    TH 24 Mini MXS-C B

Posted by Great little plane! on Feb 12th 2020

This plane is fantastic to fly almost anywhere. The body with all the components gets a bit pricey , but I’ve certainly gotten my money’s worth. I have owned and flown it constantly for over a year and I have crashed it countless times, often cracking the foam. However, a bit of Welders glue leaves the breaks stronger than before it was cracked. My only complaint is that the propellers break easily. (So get about ten extra of those if you plan on flying it a lot. Also a few extra batteries might be a good idea). I highly recommend this product.

    MXS-C is very quick

Posted by Christopher Rearick on Mar 1st 2019

I have twisted hobbies full mini lineup. Mini Crack Yak, Edge 540, Bipe, Lil Fokker, and now the MXS-C. The singles all fly very similar. The bipe and triple will both roll endlessly. I fly these in a gymnasium. Weight is the key. I shorten wires, eliminate connectors, lose landing gear, and now twisted hobbies pro series motor the 2022 at 2300kv, and super light esc. My MSX-C weighs in at 84 grams with a 250 mah Graphene battery. GWS 7035 prop. I run a GWS 6030 on the LilFokker with a 12 volt battery vs the 8 volt on single wing. Also their super light series Yak 55 is extremely stable. I can hover it around in my garage. Awesome stuff by twisted hobbies.

    24" MXS-C

Posted by Robert Jamison on Jun 24th 2018

Rob Jamison is in The Dalles, Oregon. 4 hrs · The Twisted Hobbies 24” MXS-C. Probably the most fun plane available that is capable of being flown by almost any one, at any skill level. Except for windy conditions, this plane will feel like a tame and predictable trainer for beginner and intermediate pilots. But when you increase the control surface throws it becomes a high performance 3D aerobatic powerhouse. Perfect for a large back yard or park.

    Mini MXS-C Green

Posted by Russ Bennett on Dec 11th 2017

I was hoping to find a durable plane I could fly in my backyard which has bushes, a fence and overhanging trees. This plane is small and durable enough that it flies well in this space and is a lot of fun. I am always hitting something but I just pick it up and relaunch. Blenderm tape and glue along the edges of the foam up front has helped prevent tearing after repeated contact with objects and the ground. The GWS props don't hold up well to this abuse so will be trying the Gemfan 6x3s. I have seen my skills rapidly improve thanks to this great plane.
