Extra NG: 33-Inch EPP Backyard 3D Aircraft

Designed by Cody Wojcik in collaboration with Extreme Flight, the Extra NG combines recognizable full-scale styling with lightweight EPP profile construction and modern modular assembly.

Its compact size is well suited for backyard and park flying while providing the control authority needed for hovering, harriers, rolling maneuvers, and aggressive 3D aerobatics.

This is the best and most durable flat foamy I have had so far, and my first twisted hobbys airframe. I have about 50 flights on it now (mostly indoor despite this being an outdoor airframe) and I could not be happier. It flies on rails and takes a crash well. Foam tac is a must for the foam to foam glue joints. I had to use a dremel to expand the 3d printed servo doublers for my emax servos but that was the only build gripe.

I've been flying these 32" series planes for 15 years. Flew the ExtraNG this morning and was for the first time blown away. It's on a different level than all the others I've flown. For 5 flights I could not get over how well it flies. It does everything you want it to do in really well controlled manner. Also a very easy build with the well designed 3D printed parts.

This extra ng is a good one

I have been flying a few of these planes from TH for a while now and this extra ng is the one that I find myself using more than any other. I put some halo lights on a few of them and this one just seems to work the best for me at night and with a some wind also. I’d recommend this to anyone thinking about getting it. Thinking of picking up a second one myself… mine has a few scars from some “dumb thumb” accidents ?
